System Requirements
The minimum specification required for working successfully with dynaSight is as follows:
Requirements for the dynaSight Server for Windows
- Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000 or Windows XP- 450 MHz processor or higher
- at least 64 MB RAM, 512 MB RAM recommended 200 MB hard disk space
- Access to data sources and to the Internet/Intranet
Requirements for the dynaSight Server for Unix
- IBM AIX 4.3 or later, SUN Solaris 7 and 8- 450-MHz-processor or higher
- at least 128 MB RAM, 512 MB RAM recommended
- 200 MB hard disk space
- Access to data sources
Requirements for the dynaSight Administrator and inSight
- Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000 or Windows XP- 166 MHz processor or higher
- at least 64 MB RAM, 128 MB RAM recommended
- 100 MB hard disk space
In addition to the above you will also require a web server (Windows NT or Unix). The web server can be installed either on the same computer as the dynaSight Server or on a separate computer. End user computers can be configured as Windows, Unix or Macintosh clients. They simply require a Java capable browser.
