inSight is a user-friendly client tool for developing
comprehensive client-server applications.
inSight is extremely easy to operate.
Connections between objects and data sources are established through
Drag and Drop. The underlying querying of the data sources is generated
automatically by inSight. The applications can be very easily and
flexibly configured through the graphical user guidance and the
object-oriented method of working.
inSight also offers extensive
scripting and programming capabilities.
When working with relational databases, for example, inSight can automatically generate the required SQL, or if the
application developer prefers, the SQL can be manually written. Further, inSight allows quick and easy interface with all of your
accessible corporate databases, and offers flexible data display
possibilities. If a
user has read/write permission, he is able to send
new or altered data back to the host, and can even create new tables. inSight's
object orientation results in the storage of all objects, formats, and
documents in libraries; this in turn enables you to quickly run host
queries, and to develop complex information systems in a team-oriented
development environment.
inSight is an integrative program that allows combining of texts, pictures, graphs, data, and calculations. You create multi-dimensional reports with the data being accessed directly from the database. These data sources are also used to create business graphics that are dynamic.
