Research & Development system expansion:

This project enhanced the Planning Wizard system by providing specialized budgeting modules for ‘Research and Product Development’.  This large investment area required special security treatment and increased budget and reporting detail for projects, and had personnel time-tracking needs.  The Oracle database objects and the web screens were expanded to comply with new requirements. The system proved to be very flexible in easily accommodate the increased user needs.

Highlights of the system:
·   Provides tailored budgeting and forecasting support for the special needs of ‘Research and Product Development’.
·   Automates, simplifies, and improves the budgeting and financial reporting tasks for the end-users in this specialized areas.
