SAP enabling the existing planning system:

Extensive modification of the existing cost center planning system were needed to allow two way communication with SAP through an intermediate “staging“ database.  Planning data flows to SAP from the existing Planning System, and ‘actuals’ data, for reporting purposes, flows from SAP to the Planning System. The project involved the creation of Oracle based interfaces between the existing system and SAP, including a careful matching of account structures in both systems resulting in a meaningful translation of historical financial reports. The application end-user screens required modification to display properly the business structure reorganization and account changes brought about by the SAP system.

· Provides continuity and connections between SAP and the planning system.
· Is the planning system of choice.
· User-friendly web based application to provide budgeting and forecasting data to SAP.
